We Are Going To Be Snowbirds Again

It is New Year's Eve and we are traveling to Gulf Shores to spend January, February, and some of March away from Michigan and all the cold weather, snow, and ice.  Everyone came to say good-bye to us last night....hated to say good -bye...I know I will miss the family a lot.  Hope they can come visit us while we are here. We bought a new trailer to pull our motorcycle down to the Ocean with us this year.

We left early this morning...about 2:30am and drove to Greenville, Alabama.

We got a Comfort Inn there and will sleep well until morning.  Then we will get up and drive to Pensacola, Fl. tomorrow. By the time we get there we will have driven through the states of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, then Florida and back to Alabama.  Mike's brother wants us to come tomorrow to Sunday dinner at Maria's family home.  We stayed up until midnight to ring in the New Year, watching the ball drop in Times Square.

The first drink I had in the New Year was the Hawaiian Water Travis got us for Christmas.

The water was from Kona and was in a bottle that was a beautiful color.  Thanks, Travis!
