We're Planning a Trip to Hawaii!

We're starting to make plans for a trip to Hawaii. We like to get very good prices so we don't stay in the very best hotels. We do want nice ones that are clean but not necessarily on the Ocean. We usually drive to the beaches we love. We have stayed in the Coral Reef before and it was OK because it was near the International Market Place. We have stayed at the Ohana Royal Islander and it was clean but kind of out of the way. (also the parking was bad.)I want to find some others in that area to check out. I wish we could find a great deal. I'm afraid it will cost more for our trip this year because the gas prices have gone up so much.
